Nuestro trabajo Veracruz de los silencios estuvo en Suiza y Alemania. Fue finalista del True Story Award, importante premio de periodismo de investigación que se entrega en Berna, Suiza. Hasta allá fuimos, donde participamos además del maravilloso True Story Festival, que nos permitió dialogar con audiencias, estudiantes y colegas que hacen trabajos increíbles en muchos países del mundo. Nuestro trabajo fue uno de los 36 finalistas entre más de 1.000 aplicaciones en 25 lenguas. Sólo hubo 3 nominados en castellano, el nuestro uno de ellos.
También tuvimos el privilegio de participar del Global Media Forum, que anualmente organiza la DW. Llegamos a Bonn, Alemania, como becarios gracias al Premio Alemán de Periodismo Walter Reuter, que nos otorgaron en 2024.
Our work Veracruz de los silencios was featured in Switzerland and Germany. It was a finalist for the True Story Award, an important investigative journalism award presented in Bern, Switzerland. We traveled there, where we also participated in the wonderful True Story Festival, which allowed us to engage in dialogue with audiences, students, and colleagues who are doing incredible work in many countries around the world. Our work was one of 36 finalists out of more than 1,000 applications in 25 languages. There were only three nominees in Spanish, ours being one of them.
We also had the privilege of participating in the Global Media Forum, organized annually by DW. We arrived in Bonn, Germany, as fellows thanks to the Walter Reuter German Journalism Award, which we won in 2024.
